Worked well at getting the yucky clog out of the bathroom sink drain. It does take a few tries, which is not biggie. Be patient. And be aware in order for it to work it will bring up some of that slimy hairy clog after each try. I had paper towels ready when I went at the second drain. Great solution to avoid having to squeeze into the cabinet under the sink to undo/redo the trap. Made the hubby very happy.

Looked at this little plastic thing and said there is no way this will work. I was very wrong.... It pulled out a foot long clump of stuff from our bathroom sink. Had to get plastic gloves and bag to dispose of the thing that came out of the drain. Very impressed that this little plastic yellow thing does such a good job.

When I pulled the orange plastic spiked strip from the package I was immediately skeptical and felt like all those five star reviews were from people who exist in an alternate universe - probably for those who find success with all the "as seen on tv" merchandise. I was tempted to initiate a return on Amazon but decided that I might as well gamble $9 on the plastic before gambling $200 on a plumber. I slipped the plastic strip down my shower drain and literally FIVE SECONDS LATER I was pulling up gobs and gobs and gobs of hair. HOLY COW!!!!!!!! OHMYGOSH. I can't believe I still have any hair left on my head. SO MUCH REPULSIVE GUNK!!!! I saved my prize hairball on the shower floor to show my husband because I knew he would be as skeptical as I was. We both agree it looks like a small raccoon or a large squirrel lying helplessly on my shower floor. Well done Cooper GTV Drain Snake Clog Remover. Well done. p.s. I STRONGLY recommend you wear gloves before starting and if you have used any chemicals at all you need to wear protective eye wear. A nose plug wouldn't be a bad idea either. It's a grisly, messy, smelly and oh-so-rewarding job.

Does the job. If you get a clog use this first before putting any chemicals in the drain. Only thing missing from this package is the rubber gloves but you can get those anywhere.
I would purchase again if needed but this should last a very long time

Let me preface this review by saying that my shower drain had a clog from hell lodged in it. This drain kit did not do the trick. The orange snakes seem to be more fitting for a basic sink clog and the silver snake grip is not strong enough for any real heavy duty work.
