Super cute but has a few drawbacks

I've been on the hunt for a good boot for a while. It's hard finding them in my size. These boots fit great and look super cute overall. One aspect of the design I'm not super fond of is the bright orange elastic on the back of the boot right under the calf area but it's not a deal breaker. I do wish this boot had more of a sole. It's already starting to show wear where the material scrapes against the ground. I also wish it had more support inside. There is no shock-absorption so if you do a lot of walking in them you'll notice after a while. Overall it's pretty comfy. Maybe I'll put some inserts inside. Also, I specifically ordered the regular sized boot instead of the wide boot but the calves on these boots are still too wide. They stick out from my legs and it's pretty obvious. I'm a size 12 so it's not like I'm super skinny either.
Okay. Let's talk about that pocket.

The boots themselves are fine. Not great, not terrible. You can definitely get the same quality cheaper...but without the pocket. Which, let's be real, that's the whole reason I wanted to buy these.
So. The pocket.
First, it's only on ONE boot. Which I found kinda annoying.
My phone without the case fits in the big pocket. I personally don't trust myself to not have the case on it, so that's out. I have a samsung galaxy 5, and it was pretty bulky along my calf. I wonder if it would have been better if I got the large calf version of the boots so there was an added stretch.
So, then I went on a walk with $3 & a rewards card, so if they fell out, I wouldn't be too sad. I walked a mile and nothing fell out-good.
But, it's really difficult to take in and out. So, if you're constantly taking your credit card in out, you're gonna look really silly.
Overall, I'm glad I got them. I'm sure that the pocket will be useful when I go to shows and I just want to carry my credit card with me.

I love this type of boot. Mostly I love the comfort however I wish that you all would find a different place for the zipper because it's kinda problematic.

These boots run true to size. I wear an 81/2 and thats what I ordered and they were perfect. Cheaply made but they are cute boots. Hope they hold up for going out. There is no support in these but they are very light weight.
