Nice Idea....But.....

I saw these in a recipe video on Youtube and wanted to try it out for myself. They're not bad, but they could be better.
1. The blue light is TOTALLY unnecessary and is very annoying. I honestly don't know what they were going for with this feature. It gets in the way. Why would I want blue lights over my food while I'm using salt or pepper? It makes no sense. And there's no way to turn it off.
2. Maybe it's just me, but they struggle with whole peppercorns. I find myself constantly either shaking them to hopefully break peppercorns up, or open them up entirely to see if anything is jammed. Adjusting the grind with the dial doesn't really help with peppercorns.
Other than that, I see what they were aiming for. It would make a great gift. Just needs some work.
