I honestly don't understand why the other reviews are so good. I always base my purchases on reviews, so this was a big disappointment! These skates run very small. My son wears a size 4. These skates are supposed to extend to a size 5, but he says he's touching the toe end. The worst part is the side strap. First, it's way too long. Second, the strap is very hard to push in to tighten it. That's because it has to wrap under the foot! How uncomfortable! In all fairness, the rest of the skate is well made. I am returning those.
My daughter also got new roller blades for Christmas. Her brand is called Crazy Skates and those are super nicely designed. They were about the same price.
