He have a young female Maine Coon mix cat, and my lady wants the cat to be HUGE. we saw this product, and decided to give it a try, thinking it could be like protein powder shakes for the cat (like the ones my lady drinks).

I cannot say for sure how effective this is, as we do not have a 'control group' cat, but i can say that our cat is 6 months old and weighs 9 pounds. The only negative thing i can say is that the cat has pretty terrible smelling gas and poop; while i cannot for sure say this is because of the formula, i can say that our older male cat does not get this formula, eats the same food as the younger female cat, and does not have the gas a very smelly poop like she does. i have had cats for more than 20 years, and this is the worse smelling gas/poop i have ever encountered.

Aside from that, we are pleased with the product, and the cat seems to enjoy it as well.

... and no longer have a kitten, so donated it to a local shelter. They were happy to get it, and said that Hartz is a brand they often use.

Our Ferrets get 1Tbsp once a week and they goo...nuts over it!!!

I'm not sure I like this new formula. My old cat(needs it for nutrition) noticed the difference immediately and won't drink it so, I wish Hartz would go back to the original version of this formula....In the green and purple container. The only difference I, as a human, noticed was that it didn't liquefy as easily as the older version. You have to shake and shake and shake to mix this stuff up..... Otherwise, it smells and looks the exact same as the old stuff....Maybe my cat is just picky?? My dilemma is this: She knows what the old container looked like and now this one is different. She took one sniff- stuck her nose up in the air and walked away.......sigh. So, I went searching, all over the internet, for the green and purple one and bought several cases of it to appease her. She was 21 years old yesterday....raised from a new born kitten by me. We've seen a lot together and I would do anything to keep her healthy and happy in her dotage. Okay, Okay...I admit it...she might be a tad bit spoiled but, she loves me unconditionally and I her. I'm hoping for a few more years together before we have to say goodbye. This kitten milk gives her the extra nutrition she needs to keep her moving and shaking. (Well, in my case, the older version in the green and purple bottle) This formula can give older cats an extra boost to their weight and missing vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy. My kit has trouble eating hard food so, this is a good way to soften the food while adding much needed benefits.

worked well for the 5 tiny kittens I am raising by hand! They loved it and grew well using it!
