I am only marking this a 3 stars as the bags are not big enough to hold a pair of shoes. I wear a ladies size 9 and found that I can only fit slim fit shoes (read flip flops, tiny girly slip ons, etc.), my regular running shoes and business casual heels would require 1 bag per shoe. I have however switched to using these as shower bags - carrying my bathroom (non makeup) gear while travelling. I travel for work so I have a routine - I will have to look for a larger shoe bag to meet the needs of this size 9 ladies shoe wearing gal...I do like the patterns and the vinyl fabric is nice and stays bright and colorful.

I carry flipflops in my gym bag for showering, then started to use them to pack flat sandals while traveling. I have been using discarded plastic bags for this, but have fewer and fewer of these, so needed another method for transport. My shoe size is 6.5, and these fit well. I cannot fit large running shoes into these bags. I estimate that the limit of size of these bags for flats would be size eight, but have not tested this.
