This is my second time ordering the same harness. The only reason it is the second time is because my dog chewed up her last one. Really great harness for the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a harness on a budget.

I ordered this harness in a size small in pink and teal during Black Friday. The teal came, and worked wonderfully, but the pink harness came defective. No matter what I did to clip it together, the harness was permanently twisted, and I knew that this product was defective because I ordered two colors, and one worked while the other did not. I ended up exchanging the pink for a new one and it came swiftly, but I just thought the experience speaks to a lack of quality control!! I am unsure if anyone else had this experience while ordering but I just wanted to explain what happened in case someone thinks their struggles with the product are user error.

My Yorkie is a service dog in training (and an ESA) and has a vest to indicate that but I wanted a regular harness that was light and airy for her during these hot summer months. Also, she is a swimmer and her "official vest" is not made for that. I really agonized over which harness to buy because my dog seems to be able to slip out of all the harnesses I buy for her. Since we were going to the mountains, I needed to be sure she would be completely safe. I decided to buy this step in harness for ease of use and because of the fact that it had a lot of adjustability and seemed to safe. I bought size small for my 14 pound Yorkie and it fits great with room to adjust for weight gain or loss.

I strongly recommend checking the adjustments every time or every other time you put this on your dog. I did notice that the chest area seemed to get a little looser every once in a while. That could just be normal variations of my dog's size - when she's eaten a big meal and when she hasn't - but I now do a quick check to be sure the harness is tight enough but not TOO tight.

My dog measures 18" in chest girth and 14" around the neck. I actually may have been able to use the Xsmall but this one is doing the job. We were up in the mountains for five days and she wore the harness almost all the time with no incidences at all. If she would have wiggled out of it or somehow gotten loose, a bear or other wild animal would have loved to have had her for lunch so it was imperative that she was safe - and she was.

Although I still feel like there should be a second strap around her belly, this harness is working well. It was put though the test for sure. Molly swam with it on, ran, hiked, climbed a mountain, hung out on the grass, and even napped with the harness on. It appears she is comfortable in it since she makes no effort to escape from it and sleeps just fine with it on when she naps. I feel this harness is a good one. I may still indulge my helicopter dog mom instincts and get one with a double belly strap but right now, Molly is at the lake swimming and running around with her harness on and it is secure and lightweight. Very pleased. I removed a star because I did note that the adjustments seemed to shift a bit now and then.

Very well made and the adjustment fit it great. Looks cute on my little dog.

After checking a variety of bricks & mortar pet stores for a simple harness for Pomeranian puppy, I found this Pawtitas harness on Amazon.com. This harness is a simple design, seems well-constructed, comes in several nice colors, & is available in an extra-small size, which is very hard to find at pet stores. I really like the design's simplicity, it's easy to put on my pup, & the purple color really complements his coat colors. For an everyday harness, the price is easy on the wallet too! Very pleased with my purchase.
