It helped my dog for a while and she was drinking it right up but then she got a attitude and no longer wanted to drink it. I tried adding it to her food but then it wasn't really helping. For the price I'm not trying to waste it. It will help if you can afford it.

I am SHOCKED. I shouldn't be based on the reviews but you always think it won't work for us. Well it did!!!! My dog is 15 with a collapse trachea. He occasionally gets throat infections from it and has to get antibiotics. Sometimes two rounds of antibiotics and is given hydrocodone which I hate to give him especially during the day. Even at night I didn't think it made a significant difference. I tried this hoping for the best. It has made a SIGNIFICANT change in my dogs cough. His energy level. Everything. He feels and sounds SO much better. His cough is not completely gone but it has only been two days and I see such a difference. I have such a relief seeing my baby feeling so much better. It was so hard to watch him cough and all the vet visits. It did give him some diarrhea but did not upset his stomach appetite wise vomiting etc. thank god. This stuff is incredible. I hope the owners read this and I can tell them thank you from the bottom of my heart I'm so grateful. Please don't hesitate to buy this!!!!!!

Sophie our Pomeranian suffers from collapsed trachea and has been prescribed a cough syrup every 12 hours.
She often needs help to control coughs inbetween dosages. Hound Honey does the job wonderfully and Sophie loves the taste and will eagerly lap it up when offered. She will actually ask for it when needed.

Is this a miracle syrup, no, but it has made such a difference for our dog. She has a collapsed trachea, is elderly, and her breathing is bad enough to make her pass out.
This syrup helps stop her cough and calm her down. She licks it off my finger..about 4 times, and it HELPS.
Nothing will make her 100%, but if I can help her even a little, I'm doing it.
