It was better. I have 10 cats and I buy these type blankets to keep on furniture they love to lay on them.
I thought this blanket was what I am used to buying due to the awesome price.

I have had Sherpa blankets for all my children when they were babies. I was so in love with the idea I could have one for myself!

Pros- perfect size for me. I'm petite and I didn't want the blanket taking over the bed with my husband who gets hot easily.
Lightweight- perfect for summertime! It's not to heavy but definitely keeps me warm.
Doesn't shed.
Easy to wash and dry.

I love it and would not only recommend but also give as gifts... especially if the price remains fair!

All the other reviews tell you how SOFT, COMFY, WARM and LONG it is. I totally agree. Both sides add to these factors. The color of the beige is truly wonderful, like a creamy latte. (See photo) It has a strong nap, which brings out various shades in the light. The only negative is a "slight" odor of the material right out of the plastic which will air out with time. This is, of course, ALWAYS my choice when in my Stressless Recliner.

I purchased this blanket as a warmer option during the cold northern winter. At the price point, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the reviews were great. I'm so glad I gave it a try. I paid less than I would have with a coupon at a major department store, plus I got a better blanket. We love it so much I just ordered another. If you are looking for a warm and stylish throw, look no further! Also would like to note - the sherpa does not "shed" onto other surfaces. I haven't noticed one issue.
