Don't believe the 5 star reviews, they are probably a lie that was hyped by the manufacturer, these are horrible sounding speakers. My cellphone is louder and has more bass. The cable to connect to the computer is very short. Too short for anything else but a notebook computer or cell phone. Lastly, the speakers failed within 3 weeks of purchase. That is not why the 1 star review, anything can fail. But it gives an idea of how cheaply these speakers are made. Thankfully Amazon has a no hassle return policy.

These speakers are pretty great! Sound quality is good for what I use them for. They were cheap & they look nice. I also like that there is no annoying light that shines all night when plugged in, or even when they are turned on.
My only issue is where the volume scroll switch is located. It is inconvenient for it to be attached to the cable the way it is. I feel it would have been much easier to access if it was just on one of the speakers themselves. The way it is now, sometimes the switch falls behind my desk & I can't get to it. I'm going to have to tape the mechanism somewhere so that doesn't keep happening.
