Had a Summer's Infant foot release gate that would release across the room from time to time, due to bad grip in the doorway. There is a little hole in the center of each unit that is perfect for a decently strong screw to go into the wall if you want, for extra staying power. We did put a screw in each of the Nanny units before putting the gate back up. It's been up for a while now and solidly in place. The Wall Nanny holders did EXACTLY what I was hoping they'd do. Great product! Thank you!

The last time I put up a tension-held, walk through baby gate was when my kids were little. When we took it down, the sides had damaged the paint.
Now we have a puppy and are using one again. This product is a great idea! Time will tell if it protects the wall from scratches, but the look and feel of the product's surface certainly makes me think it will work well.

These are the best in class to make baby gates more substantial. However, when the gate is open, it will be flimsy still. Seems like something on the other side to keep it bolted in when the gate is unlocked would help. Too much pressure makes it unable to close.

These have worked very well with the Summer Infant Multi-Use Deco Extra Tall Walk-Thru Gate that I purchased. I like the non-slip backing and the size. The size is just large enough to protect the wall and provide support without being too large and an eye sore. The gate footing does not provide a non-slip surface so I highly recommend these to keep your gate in place and protect the surface.

I'm so glad to have ordered these. I never had a pet gate and was initially reluctant because brackets and screws were typically encouraged for secure install. This remedied the issue and allowed for a tight and stable fit without getting invasive. I ordered two to set up a pair of Carlson pet gates with holidays approaching - I'm the only cat owner among a family of dog lovers and a cabin rental was too expensive. The Wall Nanny slipped on easily and stayed where I put it, making a formidable boundary between the dog people and sanctuary. The color options coordinated with the wall nicely and the sizing was perfect. I also love that the gate can lay flush to the ground because of the square shape. There's been no scuffs upon removal. You can tell a lot of consideration went into making this thing and I'm just glad it works. My cat and I may make it through Christmas yet.
