This is the best pizza sauce! It's very thick and tomato-y and not too spicy, so you can add more herbs and seasonings if you want. Started using this when I worked in a deli as a teenager, and now it is hard to find where I live on the beach. Delighted to see it on Amazon!!

Ordered this sauce based on a recommendation found online. It is a very good sauce coming from a can, although it is slightly bland for my taste; I prefer a stronger tomato and Italian spice flavor in my pizza/pasta sauce. My first use was on a flatbread pizza, made with a store bought flatbread crust. The crust really made the pizza what it was, being more the star of the dish. The sauce complimented it well, although, as above I prefer a stronger taste in the sauce. I will keep some Pepino sauce on hand in the pantry for future use.

I really like it. After I open a can I put it in a plastic jar and refrigerate the rest of it. We order premade pizza dough from the supermarket and make pizza at least twice a week on our pizza stone in our oven. Premade dough makes it really easy to make pizza at home.
