Teal blue; scratch prone...

Not bad endcaps but be warned: check the listed dimensions (they're accurate), because if not, you may be surprised how small they are.
The color is teal blue. It's often difficult to tell looking at online photos. It's useful to compare a group shot of these with other colors, and to check that the black plastic inserts are actually being shown correctly. A lot of times the photo will be lightened and the tell-tale is the black plastic bits now appear gray.
These were a little tight going in to my low-end aluminum Truvativ bars, but nothing the soft whack of a mallet couldn't convince.
The only other bit of advice is to expect disappointment if you're one to lean your handlebar ends against concrete or stucco walls, or lay your bike down on pavement. Being anodized aluminum, these are prone for scratching and will do so without hesitation.

These work perfectly! I prefer the bar-end-plugs that have an expansion anchor like these. The plastic plugs that come included with most bar tape never seem to stay in for me. I have only one complaint about these: and it's that the hex screw is made of a very soft metal. Be careful not to strip the hex head when you tighten them. Safe Riding!

Fits inside narrow ID handlebars

I replaced the handlebars on my mountain bike with bars that are a little more beefy. To maintain the same outside diameter (OD), the inside diameter (ID) is smaller than typical. Other plugs simply would not fit, but these worked like a charm. I added a drop of thread locker during installation, so 4 stars instead of 5.
