Pretty good, but could be improved.

I purchased two of these units, and they both had the same issues. First let me say that you get what you pay for, so I'm critiquing an "inexpensive" unit. The good is that it was very easy to assemble, and it looks very nice. More good is the fact that there were extra pins, nails, & dowels in case you lost some. I wish I could have gotten the 16 shelf unit in cherry, but, for some reason, that option was not available. The bad is that the sizing of the shelf supporting PINS, and/or the shelf supporting pin HOLES are inconsistent. Some pins had to be pounded in, and some just fell right out. The problem was that if you pounded one into the hole, 2 or 3 others would pop out of their "loose" holes.
The improvement suggestions are as follows: 1) Add a couple of screw holes to secure the unit together. I installed my own, and it really improved the stability of the unit, especially as the glue dried. 2) Refine the shelf pin/hole sizing issue so the pins don't fall out, or have to be installed with a hammer (frankly, to me, hammering is better). 3) Add soft rubber feet so the unit doesn't slide around on the tabletop. I added SIX feet. Two in the center to support the weight of the center panel, and prevent sagging. 5) Make the whole thing just a tad wider (1/2" on each side), so if the unit is used as a vertical divider, file folder tabs will fit within the width of the shelves. As it is, it is sized for an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper, and a file folder w/tab will not fit.
Longwinded - yes, but I'm just trying to help the manufacturing company, and future potential buyers.

As a teacher I was looking for a nice way to organize student work and folders. Unfortunately it ONLY fits 8.5 x11 sheet and nothing larger. OnMy buy if uou intend for paper only. Other than that it was easy to put together and GOOD quality.

Found this while looking for a damaged cardboard sorter I had been using. Only a few dollars more and well worth it. Relatively easy to assemble - the back board could benefit from starter holes or markings.
The adjustable shelves are great especially compared to the fixed shelves I had before, Having 3 support points instead of just 2 make it easy to slide shelves out if needed. Just don't over-fill or you can snag on the little lip/handle.
