After learning of mushroom's powerful immunity building & brain function enhancing qualities, I did more research as to what makes this plant so dynamic. I learned that the "whole fruiting bodies", aka the part we think of as the mushroom, is the part shown to have all the important health qualities, but that most supplements are largely or wholly made up of the cheaper mushroom mycelium, which has not (to my understanding) been shown to have nearly the same important results. Even companies I usually trust to make quality supplements fail when it comes to creating supplements that contain the most important part of the mushroom. This product, however, is made from the mushroom body itself, and lists the amounts of the necessary beta glucans. I'm so happy I found this very important info, and this 5 Defenders product!

I haven't taken it long enough to see results. However, It mixes well in anything. I made a mushroom sauce with as well.....doesn't require much to get the taste you desire. It is a small package but it doesn't take much in what ever you use it for. What a fantastic way to get all these important mushrooms together. I prefer this over tablets..
