We have made 24 pints of pesto so far this summer from 50 basil plants. Because of the volume of pine nuts we would need, I shopped carefully. Fresh, organic, vacuum sealed important to us. These arrived the next day and were exactly what we wanted. I toasted them lightly inna non-stick pan over low gas heat. They are buttery in taste and crispy. The pesto is like summer in a jar"”so aromatic and full flavored. Using quality Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and pine nuts makes a difference. The package was vacuum packed which ensured freshness and demonstrates a willingness to provide a better product. The pine nuts are slightly smaller than most I've bought, but the flavor is outstanding with a good "piney" fragrance. I've been eating them raw by the handful and, as a result, will be ordering more soon. They are definitely worth the price. I also made a suggested "Siberian Smoothie" from their recipe and it was totally delicious!

I have just received my second purchase of these pine nuts. They are truly delicious. No chemical flavor and very mild with the slight sweet taste that pine nuts should have. The vacuum packing keeps them totally fresh until you open them although I've kept part of my first pack in the refrigerator in a plastic container and they still taste fresh and crisp after several weeks when I eat an occasional handful as a treat. I'm happy to have such a good source to purchase organic pine nuts. Highly recommend.
