Very strong and high quality material. Only down side is the wrapping very poor. they just put it in a plastic bag and closed it with staples. But i guess im not using the wrapping just the thread.Otherwise i will give 5 stars.

I am making knitted ear savers for people who have to wear masks all day. I have given them to doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, teachers, and students. I'm working on some for other front line folks like grocery workers. I tired using yarn to attach buttons but it didn't work. I used embroidery thread but that was not as satisfactory as this thread. It is easy to work with and stands up to regular use and washing. Great product.

This xp heavy weight thread is not for multi purpose use. I purchased it to use in my sewing machine to sew some medium weight 100 pct cotton home decor fabric. I had difficulty using this thread in my specific machine, with tension issues. I tried adjusting the tension but to no avail. So I switched it out for #50 cotton thread and that worked fine. If I use this in the future it will be for hand sewing. It would be great for sewing buttons on coats.
