Good for thicker liquids

Works well for substances that are at least pudding consistency. Anything thinner will leak out of the syringe. The suction isn't the best, so the easiest thing to do is put the cap on the syringe and fill it from the back end. A little trial and error, but for the price not too bad. Definitely will be using it daily for my dog.
Fine for assist feeding sick cat

I am using this to assist feed a sick 4 month old rescue kitten who was malnourished and refusing to eat on her own. It has worked fine for that purpose once I got the hang of it. Best to top load the food and leave a little room to turn over and get the extra air out without wasting too much food.
It came used

I don't know if it's used or what but I was dirty, so I give only 4 stars bc I could clean it but it works very well.
Better for a larger animal

It's a lot bigger than I anticipated but it still worked. The suction isn't good so make sure you don't loose the little cap that comes with it. You will need it. I bought it for a cat to give him his liquid meal supplement. It's a bit too big but it's okay.
Not really suitable for water, or thin liquids

These are perfect for what I use them for, which is to syringe feed wet cat food to my cat if he's sick and won't or can't eat. I don't recommend them for water or thin liquids, as the liquid mostly falls right back out of syringe when you hold it with nozzle down. Still, these are essential for my purposes, and I was extremely happy to find them online, as I've not seen them for sale in stores for years.
