I'm giving this a four star because I just received it and haven't used it to be able to judge that aspect.
The item I received looks beautiful. I ordered the orange. Nice shade. Unisex. My son loves it. It feels durable for light weight not sure how it will hold with heavy things in it. But if I have to judge based on the texture of the fabric, it will hold semi heavy items - clothes, snacks, few books etc. my son will be using this for school, we'll see how long it lasts. (He's in 3rd grade). Very good as a personal Luggage for flying, good for hiking trips, camping, overnight bags etc. very spacious. Has a laptop segment inside. Has a few other pocket/compartments. Overall it's a very nice backpack. You won't be making a mistake with this.

Lightweight But Not Durable

On the first day of use for this backpack, I noticed that it was started pulling apart at the seam between the pack and its handles. I had about 5-7 lbs. of stuff in the pack and it was definitely not overloaded. This is definitely not as durable as the description would suggest. I do not believe I will get very many uses out of this backpack since that seam point appears to be a weak spot and will prematurely fail before the rest of the bag.

I originally bough this backpack for taking my lunch and my iMac to work because needed to replace my older backpack. When I opened the bag here it was shipped I was surprised that it could all fold into a small bag. The material seems nice a durable and the stitching seems strong. Inside it has a slot to slide in a 15" laptop and there is also 1 zipper bags. On the outside it has 2 zipper compartments and on the side it has 1 pocket on each side to hold a drink. These side compartments can also be used when my nephew start playing tee ball he can used the backpack to carry the tee ball bats on the side.
Overall it's a great light backpack that can collapse into a small bag.
One thing to consider is that this backpack doesn't have any padding, so when carrying any electronic device you have to be careful when and where is put it down.

I really like this backpack! It's lightweight and comfortable, yet holds a surprising amount of stuff.
Pros:

- Confortable straps, so it doesn't feel like it's too much, even when you have a lot in the backpack
- Quite a bit of space
- Can be folded into a smaller bag
- Bright, bold colors available, which is good if you're like me a lose stuff pretty often
- Good amount of pockets
- Waterproof
- Easy to clean and wipe down

- Doesn't have as many pockets on the inside, so items tend to shift if you don't have a lot on the inside. You actually need to have more items inside to help you keep everything in place. This was a bit of an issue when I went hiking, but was not when I took the backpack on the plane with me. So it all depends on where you're going and what you're bringing, if that makes sense.
I really do like this bag and know I'll be getting plenty of use out of it. I would definitely recommend it to others!

I am not a hiker or camper but I do use a backpack when I go out to run errands or go to work.
I love the fact that this backpack folds into a little bag that can be use to carry something small with you before opening it, because it has a zipper on the outside of the pouch. When you unfold it, it becomes a pretty large pack that has many features to it. For instance: Double zipper pulls on the main compartment which I think makes it stronger. A strap to go around your chest to make it more secure if you are doing a lot of walking or hiking. It has a front pocket on the top big enough to fit some pencil, pens or snack bars.
I don't know what the term Daypack means but I think it might mean different things to different people. For instance I could bring a bathing suit a change of clothes and shoes and probably a beach towel if I wanted to go swimming.
This Pack has many more features but I think you should try it for yourself to see if you love it as much as I do.
