I ordered these for my mom because she is a bus aide and has to cross the parking lot that is often covered in snow and ice each morning and afternoon. They are nice because they are easy for her to slip on, and she can even leave them on because the spikes aren't so long that they would cause difficulty walking on smooth surfaces or damage the floor of the bus. She was thrilled when I gave them to her and have made her more comfortable walking through the snow.
