The sleeves are nice - I really think they run BIG - for example, my upper thigh is 23", which the chart tells me is clearly an XXL, but I ordered the XL and it fit perfectly. I even added a self-adhesive ACE wrap to my LEFT hamstring area for even more compression. Remember, you can do this. Add more compression with a wrap on top on the sleeve (or under it.) I'm 6'0" and 195 lbs. Pulled my L hamstring running on a different treadmill. No more. Back to the road, once my hamstring heals.

The sleeves also run LONG. You'll have to pull them up to the groin line so they stay off the knee. The feel is like soft mesh. You'll get some compression, but if you order too big, I doubt you'll get any compression at all.

My son runs track. His hamstring needed extra support. I was skeptical it would help. He absolutely loves this wrap.

I am recovering from a partial quadriceps tear. The Sparthos Quad support wrap I purchased was inexpensive, helped my condition and I received it from Amazon in two days.

I pulled a hamstring a week before a planned hike in the North Dakota Badlands. It helped blood circulate to the area during rehab and provided just the right level of support when hiking. By comparison, the XL felt a little uncomfortably tight.

Staying in place: I wore the sleeve all day every day during the hike. The temps were pretty high (80's, 90's, and one day above 100) so I was sweating pretty good. Also had to do a couple river crossings (slightly above waist high water). Through it all, the sleeve stayed in place and didn't slip. I've since used it in the gym where, regardless of the movement I'm doing, it remains in place.

Support: Can't say enough. It definitely helped speed up my recovery, and held my thigh together through some challenging conditions. I was very deliberate in how I moved coming off the injury, but the sleeve definitely improved my confidence. All in, I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this simple structure has been.
