This has quickly become my son's favorite toy. We bought a magnetic train set and between that and the track pieces I feel like my 22 month old is learning a lot about how things fit together. He loves putting the tracks in all sorts of configurations. The set is a little on the small side so I anticipate getting an expansion set but that's no worry to me at all as he loves them so much.

Bought this to go with Melissa and Doug train set I purchased for my 2 year old grandsons. M&D bridge is supported by blocks. Which made handling hard for little hands and the track/bridge would fall! This is sturdy and 2-3 year old friendly.

These wooden rail tracks are universal and well made. This is our third set and the quality is consistent. They match up well with the other brands we have purchased and you can't tell the difference between the brands. It's super easy for the little one to manipulate and I find they are terrific for developing motor control skills. He plays for hours on end building all kinds of imaginative train tracks.
