It fits my windshield perfect and there are no holes where the sun can come in on the Cadillac SRX. I can tell it is a lot cooler in the car than with the accordion sun shade that I have had before. The only reason that I did not mark it 5 stars for the fold is because I keep forgetting to take the instructions with me and am afraid to screw it up. It seems next to impossible to get that folded to fit in the little bag! I will try it soon though. Oh and the steering wheel cover that comes with it is great but, falls off too easily. Where you slide it on the steering wheel should be deeper. I love it and it was delivered on time and in perfect condition.

Stowing it into tote size, took a bit of messing around with the instructions, tho. Usually it's easy: twist, bring hands together, forms the compact, salad-plate-sized shape you need to tuck into the little slip for storage. But nope -- you need an extra half twist, in order for all the parts of the shade to form that size small enough to get the elastic retainer around it all. But no problem once I'd figured that out.

The steering wheel cover seems phoned in, however. Doesn't cover sun coming in your driver's window, so the bottom quarter of the wheel towards the window still gets full exposure. If the wheel cover had the same strips of fabric the windshield cover has on its corners, it'd be enough to prevent this. Will have to drape a towel over it and stalk controls as before.

Light and takes up less space than the outgassing accordion-fold I'm used to using... but does take an extra few seconds to tuck everything in place vs. the folding one. If it doesn't leave a fog of outgassing on the inside of my windshield, it'll be my new favourite tho.

Not sure why the review lists ' suction power' and 'sun protection' as rateables... there are no suction cups on the product, and I'd just got it, so no way to rate sun protection yet.

Nice shade, folds into a compact bundle that is easy to open and close, and is small enough when folded to be easily stored. I would note that I ordered a large as recommended in the size chart for my car, but it was too big, so I ordered the medium which is perfect. If you have a Civic, Elantra, Corolla or similar midsize sedan, get the medium.

I would give this a 4.5 if that were an option. 1. Don't pay attention to the sizing chart. It's wrong. Measure your window. I have a Taos (52"x27" or so). It says to get a large. Would be way too big. Medium is on the large end for my car, but will work with full coverage. 2. Why do companies make bags for their products that are so darn hard to get the product back into? Please make the bag opening bigger. 3. Appears like it is going to give great sun protection. 4. Easy enough to fold, but doesn't stay together. Hopefully the elastic bands will last as the bag will be too much of a hassle to use.

This is the most valuable product I think I have purchased on here recently. Living in Texas and working at a school where there is no shade in the parking lot meant my van was boiling when I was getting myself and my son in to go home. I got this shade and the temperature in my van was easily 20 degrees cooler than it was without the shade. My steering wheel wasn't causing burns on my skin, the metal bits of the seatbelts were easier to handle and the AC could actually cool the car down quickly. It fits perfect and doesn't even need the visors down. I just cracked the front and back windows and afternoons weren't as hot.
