I have used iotties products for a long time. Have them in each vehicle but I wanted to try a different mount, currently have the cd mount. They're both very solid, but this one doesn't block my center console controls.

For those wondering, this is simply a replacement mounting pad for dashboard mounted iOttie car phone mounts. It acts as the level surface for suction car mounts.
I was able to use this dashboard pad to create a second mounting point for my car mount. With two pads, I'm able to alternate mounting positions to the right and left of my steering wheel. This would also serve well as a replacement mounting pad, since the strong adhesive of these pads are not necessarily reusable once removed.
While I wish the product were less expensive, I'm glad it's something iOttie has decided to make available. It certainly beats buying a whole new car mount from them.

My original iottie base lasted 5+ years. I wasn't thrilled about having to replace the entire unit when I reached out to them and they pointed to the base only replacement. New base is perfect - easy to transfer the phone mount and great suction to the windshield - just like the original.
