Ok, I knew going in I would have to enlarge the spit rod opening. The rod for my rotisserie is almost 3 times as large as the opening in this roaster drum. I got my trusty Dremel tool out and went to work. The clamp was the first to go. The rod was almost as big as the drum clamp is wide, so off it came. I carefully ground out a hex opening in the drum and it fits perfectly, but as there is no clamp now, I use two of the rotisserie forks on each end of the drum to keep it from sliding from one end of the rod to the other. Perfect adjustment got it centered right in front of the infrared burner on my gas grill. So now all I'm waiting on are the green Kona and Columbian beans that are on order.

Been roasting a pound of coffee at a time with this and it works great. I'm sure it could handle more, maybe double. I had to enlarge the square holes to accommodate the spit but I knew that coming in.
