These are super convenient cabinet locks. They don't require any tools to add to cabinet doors and they are very effective at keeping young children out. I have nieces and nephews over a lot and I don't want them getting into cabinets with sugary snacks or wine glasses or cleaning products. So I put these on when I know they will be coming over and I take them off when they go back home. I can easily get into any cabinet I need to but the kids haven't figured them out and probably wouldn't be strong enough with their dexterity even if they knew how to manipulate the locks. They are bulky and unattractive so I took off one star, but that is well worth knowing the kids and my fragile things are safe.

I've been using these cabinet door locks for a week now. I don't have kids so no need to keep them out of the household chemicals or anything, but I found so many other users for them. I use them as book extensions, for a cabinet door I have that always opens on its own, keep my dogs out of their dog food container & don't get me started on all the ways to use in the garage. These baby proofing locks come in a package of 4. They are well made and sturdy. I have them on all my bathroom cabinets to keep my toddlers out of them! Even my 5 year old can not unlock these without help which is perfect for my use. We also placed a lock on our trash cabinet because the dog had figured out how to open the cabinet and get into our trash cans and now he can't!
We rent our home and are not able to install a more permanent baby proofing option so these were a perfect solution for us. The are easy to open for adults, you just pinch the two tabs and slide the u-shaped lock out. It's a quick and easy option to keep your little ones (and pets) safe!

These work good and it requires no sticking or drilling. They are easy to apply and remove.
Since there are no magnets, drilling, or tape needed, no marks are left behind to damage the finish of your cabinets.
Just place the lock on closed cabinet door knobs or handles and slide the bar until the lock is tight and cannot move any further.
The sliding mechanism is thin enough to fit under knobs for a nice snug fit.
To remove, simply pinch the two buttons together with your fingers and slide it off.

I got these for my one year old son, he has just started crawling so hes into everything. So i got one for my pantry because there is heavy stuff inside there like cans and i dont want him getting hurt. One is for bathroom that has bottle of alcohol, peroxide, and razor which isnt safe for him. The other 2 are for the kitchen especially the one under the sink. No tools or hardware were neede to install these just slip on good to go. They seem very sturdy. The baby is not getting in these you need to fingers to take them off nice and quick for an adult. You can never be to care when theres a baby in the house these work great!
