I purchased 9 of these barrels as a gift for my groomsman and couldnt have been more pleased. All the barrels I gave out have been tested and hold liquid well, no leaks reported to me. There was one issue I noticed the thursday before my saturday wedding, it appears one of the barrels was a 2 liter but was mislabeled as a 3 liter. I emailed red head barrels with the issue and sent a picture in and they got back to me within the hour! This was at like 6pm eastern on Thursday mind you and the representative stated he would take care of it and ship me a new one. On Saturday morning the day of my wedding I got a knock on the door thinking it was the photographer. Nope! The last barrel had arrived! Product is great, customer service is great, very satisfied with this purchase.

Very cool little barrel that really works in adding smoky overtones to your favorite liquor. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it took 4-5 hot 'soaks' to cure/expand the wood so it wouldn't leak. I was not expecting to invest over an hour to do this - it would be helpful if the factory did that "pre-seasoning" for the consumer. But overall, great little barrel!

When I unpacked this product, I was very happy with the construction and the overall look of the barrel. I was excited to get my wine into it, so I read the instructions and carefully started following them. When I started to gently tap the spigot in place, the barrel head cracked. So why do they still get 5 stars you ask?
I emailed the company Read Head Barrels, they immediately responded, apologized and said a new barrel was on the way! Now THAT is how a company should support their product and that is how they get loyal customers like me from now on. Thanks guys!
