I can't believe that Tootsie Roll caved to in public pressure that these are somehow Racist candy and took them off the market because WalGreens and a few other drug stores refused to carry them for fear of offending the ACLU. First Sen Sen's are racist now these?. Are you kidding me?. I am expecting my favorite chocolate ice cream to be pulled off the market next. We have gone so over the top with our political correctness applying it to candy, dog breeds and ice cream that it is appalling. Meanwhile this candy is absolutely delicious and all children and adults of any ethnicity can enjoy it equally.

fresh soft excellent

When I was a kid (back in the stone age) we used to buy these at the drugstore for a nickel a box. Back then they were called Black Crows which is now politically unaccetible so over the years the name has morphed to just Crows. Still, it is the same great candy we enjoyed back then. The last batch of these arrived fresh and well within their best by date. This batch was the same way. The War Departemnt gives me a twelve pack box of these every Christmas. I try to limit myself to one box per month (unsuccessfully) so that they last throughout the year.

If you like licorice flavored gumdrops these are the best in the world!!!
