They disassemble which makes them easier to store. They are a "disposable" cup but are high enough quality to use time and time again. They are sturdy, even when full, and they are so cute. I do recommend hand washing, I would assume the gold decor will come off if anything too abrasive is used.

I purchased these straws to use with the We R Memory Keepers Pinwheel Attachment sets. I was concerned that the straws would be too short as they are 9" and the straws with the pinwheel sets are 12". That is not the case. They are the perfect length when you are making 6" pinwheels! They are very study and the color assortment is better than I had hoped for. The soft, ombre colors give me the flexibility to use my wide range of cardstock to make pinwheels. All of other straws that I have located that are 9" or longer have some type of pattern which is great for some applications. These are the only straws in this length that offer no pattern - which is exactly what I was looking for. The price for 125 straws was better than all other prices I found for similar patterned straws. They are very well made, packaged nicely and clean.
