Like the other reviews have noted, even copious amounts of stirring doesn't seem to make this into anything particularly solid, so you basically end up with a mess. if the flavor was particularly good then it might be worth it, but as it is, it's just messy with an average peanut butter taste.

I love when products keep it simple and healthy. Two ingredients; Peanuts, salt! Perfect!! I see some review regarding extra oil. That's because it's NOT processed! And after being bottled it will naturally seperate. Just skim half the oil off the top right after you open the jar, before mixing, then mix it and create the consistency you want. You can always add a little back in, then refrigerate to keep it from seperating again. EASY & healthy. It's the healthiest peanut butter I can find, so a little modifying is worth it. It annoys me that most other brands feel it's needed to add extra ingredients to an already delicious food. It's really frustrating to see sugar & unhealthy oils added to this. Try the oil reduction and enjoy.

Typically like this Whole Foods brand, but this peanut butter separated and after I mixed it, it still had a very liquid-like consistency. I threw both containers I purchased away.

This is actually really good peanut butter. Yes there's oil on top, so what. There's no need to rate it 1 star if natural separation occurs. Go back to Jiffy with hydrogenated oil if it bothers you that much.

I know that the package says the oil might separate and that you should "stir product", I've had to stir peanut butter plenty of times before...but this was a liquid mess! Stirred for minutes, vigorously...still could not get it to turn into peanut butter! Since we couldn't ewt an oily, soggy mess, I had to throw the jar in the trash. Beware...this is NOT good peanut butter, at least not the batch I ended up with!
