Their old style blanket did not work for me, (although the outer cover was incredibly soft) but I was utterly amazed at the effort Harkla went to in resolving the issue. It's like dealing with LL Bean - Harkla also stands behind it's products, and cannot be beat at customer service. Their communication was lightning fast (I'm not sure they even sleep), they were courteous, and bent over backwards for this purchase. They are a safe company to deal with, and are clearly in it for the long haul, plus they donate money to Autism Research! They should be teaching some of the other companies on Amazon how to make customers happy. Seriously, they are that good!

This blanket is AMAZING. My husband bought it for me because I struggle with anxiety, especially at night. This helps me sleep so well. Not only does it help my anxiety, but it helps my restless leg and rolling around. I sleep so much sounder when I use it. I have tried other things for my anxiety (essential oils, supplements, etc) and none of them really make a difference. This however made a big immediate difference. I don't know how I lived without it for so long. I highly recommend. The only possible negatives are the length...i am 5'6" and my feet stick out sometimes. I got the 15lb, so if you're taller I would get the 20lb. Also, I love the soft outer cover with the minky fabric, but it does sometimes make me hot. I use it instead of my comforter.

"We have taken your feedback into account and updated our weighted blanket to now use tiny glass beads mixed in with our fluffy cotton. This has solved the issues of any smell from the plastic beads, as well as a more even, distributed weight, as the glass beads are fully mixed in with the cotton." Smells kind of weird and the pellets are not evenly distributed, but in weird solid clumps.
The first week was a marravilla, I slept very well, I was so happy that I talked to everyone about the good effect it had had,. but after the first week the weight was not the same, unbalanced, too much.
