Lightly, super easy to assemble, perfect for ages six months and up.

Safe and fun. Perfect for my 10 1/2 month old granddaughter.
I was hoping this would come exactly the size it is.
It is the simple assembly. About 10 screws. You need a regular size Phillips screwdriver.
My 10 1/2 month old granddaughter is really trying to walk but she just won't take the step. She climbs.
In my search, and research I kept ending up looking at this step 2 Sports Activity Center.
It has the simple one step up to a about 10 inches wide and 12 inches long platform.
I think with the high side she really feels Secure sitting there.
The first thing my granddaughter did was take the toys off the site. Crawl around the entire toy. Then stand up and lean over.
I did not really push her or encourage her to do anything.
She kept going back and trying something new.
On the second day I did help her up The steps and front going forward on her belly and slide down the slide.
There it will not be a nose dive or head injury. It is small enough for youngsters to go headfirst or feet first.
It's an amazing design. Well thought out. Perfect for beginners and a toy they can continue to grow with.

Hope this info helps. Thanks for reading.
This was a great little slide for my 1 year old!

This was a great little slide for my 1 year old! This was a Christmas gift for my 1 year old son, and he has really enjoyed playing with it. It was just the right size for him as he was learning to pull up and stand up on his own. More than anything, he used to to practice stepping and walking. I highly recommend this activity center!
Wonderful slide for baby to climb

We purchased this slide when our son was six months old, and he has grown into it. This slide is perfect for around the 8 months old and older. It is small, but baby can crawl easily up and down the stair and slide. The baseball, and basketball part of this slide really is more for looks, baby could care less about that part of the slide. I would purchase the slide though for the slide. It allows our son to have something to climb on, and he loves to climb. This toy most likely will be outgrown once our son can walk confidently and move onto a larger slide. If I would guess (without measuring) the slide is about 8 inches or so off the ground.

IT'S SMALL!!!! I bought this thinking it would be good for my nephew (12 months) to play on as the weather gets colder, however, I wish I hadn't gotten this. Although he seems to enjoy it overall, he is already too big for it (averaged sized 1 yr old) and I realize it's small for safety reasons, but the size leaves little room for actual 'sliding'...and it is a slide. He sits on his bottom at the top and his feet almost touch the ground. It almost looks like an over-sized doll toy. Again, he seems to like it overall, but unfortunately I won't get my money's worth here because he just won't use it much longer at all! I wouldn't buy again!!!
perfect for new walkers to practice with inclines!
Amazon Customer✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 17, 2015
Little niecey loves this slide! ! She's 1 and just started to walk without holding on about a month ago. she needs someone to hold her hand when she's going down even the slightest incline and other reviewers said this slide was so short she'd be fine if she fell from it. So I bought it and she's doing with it exactly what I hoped--- practicing navigating inclines and steps. She hasn't figured out how to slide, but she climbs up and down the slide and steps holding the sides, and she does it over and over and over for like half hour every day. Her parents are comfortable leaving her unattended with it because if she falls, she won't hurt herself except for the expected bump.
