My boys love this kart. It's sturdy and well made! My boys zip all over the driveway in this. I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun pedal kart!
the best gift

The best gift of happiness given to my grandson he enjoyed.

As expected, easy to put together. My son is 5, he can probably use it for a few years. Only downfall is that it will only work on a sidewalk or road. Doesn't work on grass or gravel.
Nostalgia

I had one as a kid when we lived in Germany and loved it. We came back state side and rode myself and my sis to the PX for treats and small items for my parents but mine had a storage area on the back where my sis stood and we bungee cord the bag in place. Drove it to it literally fell apart, many years!! So, when I came across this, I had to buy one for my grandkids and they absolutely love it...had to purchase a second to end the sibling sharing wars, lol! Even though the design is different from the 70s, it's still very sturdy and safe...I would definitely recommend this cart!!â¤ï¸
Fairly-priced entry level kart for lightweight toddler riding on paved surfaces.

It definitely puts a smile on the kid's face. It is easy to pedal and steer for a 40"/35lb boy, and he loves to ride it. Overall, I would call this a good product, but a couple of things to note:
The gear ratio is very low. This means it rolls out easily from a stop [on pavement], but a kid has to pedal like crazy to go fast. The pedal cranks are very short, so that means kids with medium/long legs are basically wiggling their feet to pedal, and can't get the leverage to take off quickly or to fight their way through rough terrain. The gearing is not low enough, however, to ride over grass or dirt. This kart is NOT off-road capable. Even with the granny-gearing, the kart is fast enough to get away from a jogging parent once it gets moving.
Also, the tires are hard plastic and seem cheap. A kid will probably outgrow it before the tires go, but not if he/she likes to skid the tires. (Regular use of the brake lever skids the tires).
The orange one was $100 when I purchased it. For that price, it's hard to knock it too much feature-wise. Aside from those cheap tires, it is well-made, mostly of metal. I expect it to last through ages 4-7, so I'd call the age range accurate.
Lastly, the seated driver is less than half his/her standing height... AKA low enough to be invisible to cars, a concern if there are not safe sidewalks or parks around to ride on.
