Bought this as a fun way for my 5 ur old to play with her new kitten, good buy it is a little cheaply made but it is a lot of fun to watch them play with this. The remote is easy for her to use as it only goes 2 ways, not sure who likes it more my daughter or the kitten. I'm not sure who you would "gift" this too unless your in a similar situation as our family with a young kid & new cat but it was a cheaper product so I was willing to take a shot on it & glad I did. Pretty durable and surprisingly alot after than I thought it was going to be. So very happy with my purchase

The remote is very basic we were all excited to use. But we kept having trouble with the batteries. The remote seemed to not function and then out of nowhere it would work. We believe that maybe the remote does not hold the batteries well to the extent that batteries easily move inside coursing the remote to not work.

I like that it works really well, my cat and I are purely entertained.
Control does not allow for mouse to pivot if it bumps into something......constantly having to fetch and resume play. Other wise looks like a life like mouse.....very entertaining.

I used this toys with two terriers. Needless to say it only lasted 30 +/- minutes before they crushed the wheels. It was a fast and furious 30 minutes, totally worth the price.
