I ordered this chair and when it arrived theLa-Z-Boy Delano Big & Tall Executive Bonded Leather Office Chair - Chestnut (Brown) box was not damaged at all. Every wooden leg on the bottom of the chair was off. Screws were pulled out and stripped. The vendor kindly allowed a return and shipped another chair just like the original. I packaged the first chair back up and took it to a UPS drop off. The replacement chair arrived today as promised. Upon opening the box I immediately checked the base first and...exact same situation with wooden legs separated from the metal base and screws stripped out. I have requested a full refund and now have to box this chair up and send back before I get my refund. I hope your experience is better than mine. The chair itself is beautiful but the quality certainly seems to be missing with the construction of the chair. Not what I expected from a LA Z BOY chair at all.

Lazy-boy use to have better Quality products. This chair is very nice looking.. Assembly was easy, and he instructions were well written, but when I went to put the air piston in the base it was crooked due to poor workmanship, so the chair sits crooked. I'll have to take the chair apart at some point and shim the air piston.

This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable office chair I have ever had! It is also good looking and stylish. This one is not huge, so it fits nicely behind my desk. If you are over 6' tall or weigh more than 250 lbs,, you may want to check out the version for "Big and Tall" as this chair is more suited for an average sized adult. I was worried about putting it together (I am NOT athletic or mechanically inclined!) but the instructions were quite clear and all necessary screws and tools were labeled and included. It took a little under one hour - which may have been longer than if I had had some help, but I was too impatient to start using it to wait on my husband to get home! HINT: using the upturned empty box it arrived in as a "work table" helped tremendously. Also, be sure to push hard on the casters to secure them in the base before going further. Be sure not to tighten the bolts (as stated in the directions) securing the back to the seat before attaching the arms! You need the wiggle room looser bolts will give you to line up the screws and holes on the arms. The chair was extremely well packaged and arrived safely - a day earlier than promised! This chair was also far less expensive (about 50% less) than other "Executive Office Chairs" we found in Office Depot, Haverty's or Staples, and the quality is quite a bit higher. All in all, I am quite happy with this purchase! I plan to use it for quite awhile - at least through retirement!

It's like sitting in a recliner shaped like an office chair. When you sit in this, you sink into it, very plush, high quality build.

Now, if they sent the proper bolts along with it, that'd be great. (was a hassle)

The chair supports you everywhere it should and is very cozy ... and I'm about 6' 280lbs

EDIT MARCH 20 2018 - not even 6-months in and it creaks with every move ... not what I'd expect for high quality furniture. I may be above the rated weight a bit, still should not make this big of a difference. Dropped one star ... nice chair if you're under 200lbs, but I'm a little disappointed in it's longevity, something to consider.

I deliberated on buying a new chair after my last one broke for a while. I wanted one that was comfortable as well as strong, a chair that'd be durable.

I ordered this chair and I assembled it perfectly, it was great, so comfortable but 2 weeks in I come to find the chair tilting a bit.

It turns out on the central seat plate (the part you screw everything into in order to secure the chair) has a plastic base and one of the corners cracked. Now let me also clarify that this chair is supposedly rated for 400 lbs (which I'm well under)

I asked for assistance on this and all they could do for me without fully disassembling and returning the only office chair I have left after going in on this was a 30% discount. There's no parts service or anything to assist with this. No warranty help from the actual company unless I go above and beyond out of my way to get some kind of help, and that's even not a guarantee.

Naturally I'm a bit disappointed. It's supposed to be a high quality material chair, WHY is there plastic on this seat base? It tilts and creaks moving it now, it's still usable and comfortable, but it had serious issues come out in just weeks on a chair that's supposed to be highly durable.
