I don't know why the review asks for "flavor." You don't eat these. The fire does. However, they last plenty long enough to light the fire, even with damp wood. You still need kindling, but no need for tinder with these. They light easy and last a long time. I'm on my third box that I use for summer backyard fires in my SOLO smokeless stove.

Yes, I like these fire starters. They are small and inexpensive. You should know, however, they don't burn for long. Sometimes if my wood wasn't dry enough I would have to use 3 or 4 starters to get the fire going. But if your wood is dry then 1 should do. I actually ordered 4 boxes this winter because they work, they're inexpensive, and they arrive on my doorstep in a day or two. Very convenient!
