this will fit the original internals of the land rover discovery sport 2017 key fob and takes very little effort to install. comes looking better than the photo in the listing and does not have a cheap feel like other keys usually do. try using the emergency key that comes under the metal cover to pry it open when installing into the new shell

Excellent quality replacement for our original style keyfob that had the rubber skin peeling away. This case-only looks as if it could have been an OEM. I just had to pop it open and do the same for original the swap the circuit board with battery. I used small wire cutters to trim the plastic mounting posts to height and secured the board at the posts with small blobs of black shoe-goo, then snapped the case halves back together. Works as it should.

The quality is really nice. I am happy I read another review which talked about the two black tabs on the new cover. The tabs conflict with the black tabs on the motherboard. I needed to clip the tabs on the cover and trim the tabs on the motherboard. I was able to close the cover once that was done.
