Really nice little tea pot. Bought it to replace a plastic pot Keurig used to make for brewing iced tea from K-cups. Tomorrow I am going to give it a try by placing ice cubes in infuser and using my Snapple Iced Tea K-cup. In theory it should work since the ice will cool the tea when it brews, and the pot should be sturdy eough to handle the cooler water. The Snapple k-cups are great, as was the brewer made by Keurig. The handle broke and that pot was unusable and have been looking for something to replace it because the wise people at Keurig discontinued the product. I will let you know how it works.

UPDATE: Worked perfectly! Perfect replacement for the Keurig teapot (discoontiinued). Also, fits on the brewer without having to remove the drip tray, as pot is just under 6" high. Here's what I did. Filled tea insert with ice cubes, inserted Louisianne Sweet Tea K-cup in Keurig and hit brew. Once done brewing, removed infuser and added more ice cubes. Delicious. Also works with my Snapple K-cups. Very pleased. This is a well built little pot, with a nice sturdy handle. Ordering another today. I can also now use with other k-cups for hot tea and also for my loose and bagged imported hot tea. Very, very pleased. If this suits your needs or desires, by all means, get yourself one. Aso, the Louisianne Sweet tea is delicious.

**Yet another update**

I sent a message to the company to let them know about the issue (see below) with my pot. They were incredibly easy to work with and they stand by their product and shipped me a new one. Great customer service and fingers crossed that the pot won't crack again because it is my favorite of all three glass infusers I have! Also, if you have any issues with RA or joints of any type, this pot is very easy to hold and your hads don't come in contact with the hot parts. The handle is very well designed. Lastly, one more thing I did not write on my initial review is that, if like me, you don't like to brew your tea too strong, the strainer can be taken out and the top will still remain in place (no need to hold it with your hand as you pour the tea). This is my only infuser that I can do that with. Also, the strainer is the easiest to wash because the perforations are also present on the bottom of the piece (all others I have have perforations only on the sides, which makes them harder to wash). Changed the review to one star because pot got a serious crack on the bottom of it out of the blue last week. That makes this pot officially less than two months old, and since I alternate use between tree infusers, that makes it a broken pot in less than 6 times being used.
Still love the design and the thought that went into making it be...but what good is a pot if it cannot be used or its lifespan is less than two months/6 uses?

Great design and I love the fact that the lid has the little knob that is not stainless (I have another one that has a stainless knob and I always burn my fingers when I want to take the steeping basket out). The glass looks delicate but feels sturdy and for a household of two is just perfect. would highly recommend!

This is the perfect teapot for my desk at work! Brewed my favorite loose tea flavor today, Mango! I work for a great company that prides themselves in maintaining safety! With that said, I am not permitted to have a heated plate or plug-in hot plate. This teapot kettle is perfect for brewing my tea using the hot water provided in the common area. The tea brewed perfectly and the thermal cozy kept it warm enough for me to have a 2nd cup of tea shortly after my first! I have not used at home on the burner. Directions say it is safe as long as flame doesn't exceed outer rim of glass pot. but sine I love the fine strainer that fits perfectly inside, I may be buying a 2nd one for home use too!

Works great for loose leaf tea or tea bags. Today I cut bags open and poured the contents in the wire basket. The tea was very fine and I thought it would not be strained out well enough for drinking. But when I poured the tea, it was clear! I like the sleeve very much. It keeps my tea hot for about an hour after removing from flame. I set the handle of the kettle slightly askew of my open flame, and I'm still able to grasp the kettle by the handle which isn't too hot. Pluses: can go on open flame; lid fits with or without the strainer; sleeve keeps tea hot; trivet is nice; strains the tea nicely, handle doesn't get hot; easy cleaning; opens up a whole new world for me to experiment with combining teas to my liking. It's also a very sweet item, cute and perky. I'm looking forward to setting it on the table to furnish hot tea for guests all through a meal. My only improvement would be to have the strainer sit lower in the kettle so I could brew a lesser amount if I wanted to.

My husband bought this for me as a replacement for one I accidentally broke. I'm extremely happy he found this infuser. I love how its taller than any other infuser I've had, holds a little less liquid than my last, it makes 2-3 cups of tea. It handles the stove wonderfully and its easy to clean, no difficult spout to clean out. Definitely a cute, stylish little infuser that sits very nicely on my counter at all times, especially with the coaster and sleeve that keeps my tea noticeably warmer through the morning.
