Frozen well to pressure tank PVC broke during the holidays. While getting ready to repair, found the brass nipple to pressure switch had corroded to the point of breaking off in the tee connection. Decided to replace everything and use a tee with union for future access. Everything delivered as described, and with the substitution of PEX for PVC, installation was as simple as could be expected. Going from 30/50 to 40/60 switch, I pressurized the tank to 38 psi, turned on the pump and was back in business.
Make sure to note that this kit does not include a valve for tank to house shutoff capability,, so make sure you can reuse your existing valve or purchase the appropriate valve at the same time.
