excellent base and have unbelievably great grip

These pedals are light, sleek, excellent base and have unbelievably great grip. It feels as if my feet are glued to these! I wish they came in other colors in the middle, but covered mine in black electrical tape to give them a nice black look to match my bike. Install went smoothly. Only ridden two times, but feel very solid underfoot.

I am a new road bike user and purchased these last week. They are excellent. My shoes do not slip and the ride is more enjoyable to and from the gym where I can jump off the bike, lock it, and enter the gym. No longer have to take off my cycling shoes and lugging my tennis shoes to change into. Honestly, the work out that I feel is about the same - perhaps a quarter revolution there might be a slight difference in the ride, being not being able to pull up on the pedal for a quarter turn. For a beginning rider I honestly cannot tell a significant difference in my cycling work out.
