I liked the little bit of padding on the upper palm area and the grip is good, too. Fingers still free for dexterity. Good work out glove for me

I was having trouble maintaining poses during yoga that involved pressing weight on my hands. In downward dog I felt like I couldn't get as deep as I wanted to because my hands would sweat and slip on the mat. Usually when I practice yoga I wear grippy barre socks for the same reason, so i figured there has to be something similar for my hands... one Amazon search later & I found these and they're perfect!! Excellent grip and they're thin and comfortable so I don't feel like they're interrupting my focus. I had to return my first pair because these run big. I have relatively large hands for a woman and measured 3in across, so I ordered size 2 which were a little baggy and didn't have the snug fit I feel these need to work well. The packaging says they should feel like a newly washed pair of jeans - tight then they'll loosen up. Size 1 felt tight at first but after a few uses fit perfectly. Excellent quality and no digging into between my fingers. Love love love!

Positives: Overall great gloves. I used the gloves this morning for yoga, and was very pleased with their performance - very sticky on the mat, no finger binding anywhere (I often have this issue where gloves that fit my fingers are too short in the finger crotch and they hurt after awhile, but NOT these). The velcro around the wrists give them a very professional feel, and some support also.
Negative: I am one of those annoying people who is super sensitive to any and all chemical smells. These smell very strongly of plastic/petroleum product. I washed them after my workout in the sink in some peppermint castile soap, but the smell is still there. I imagine it will just take some time.

I want to start by saying that these are great for outside yoga however, i do daily backbends in NYC, i have had 7 pairs of these gloves and unfortunately they do not last, the rubber starts to flake off. For someone who doesn't use them on rough surfaces everyday they will likely last you a lot longer. They do keep me from slipping and allows for a deeper bend.

I will keep buying them because they do work but my last couple of orders were messed up.

order replacement on 9/11/22 but was sent two right gloves
company did send me another size 1 pair that was complete.
lets just say i have a lot gloves hanging out in my house.

they are a great product just wish they were more durable. Company seems responsive and tries to make things right.

Ever since I started practicing yoga I was always struggling with keeping my sweaty palms on the mat.
I bought three mats over the months, hoping each would provide better grip but no luck.
My hands would slide forward during downward dog and I'd end up focusing more on my grip than the actual pose.

Enter YogaPaws. I tried cheap yoga gloves before but they were so crappy and I would still slip.
I had little hope but I took a gamble and ordered these instead of yet another expensive mat.

Oh. My. God.
The grip is amazing! My hands stay put no matter the surface. I tested them on yoga mats, smooth hardwood floors, kitchen tiles and vinyl floors. Zero slip and perfect downward dog on EVERY SURFACE!

The gloves are very comfortable and don't dig in between your fingers like a lot of other brands.
I would recommend buying the size that is the closest match to the exact width of your palm. Don't size up. They will 100% stretch and mold to your hands within minutes.

I only got the gloves but I'm tempted to buy the foot version of YogaPaws. They're so good! I'm super excited for my next practice.
