This thing is heavy duty. I was moving wet cottonwoods logs that had to be at least 1500 pounds. Could barely get the hook around them, but when I did and got a bite, it was a life saver. I put it through it's paces and it came out smiling.
This is not a flimsy tool and it will absolutely wear you out. However, it's infinitely better than trying to do it by hand. Plus it's made in the USA which in my book is an absolute bonus.

I hate "I haven't used yet" reviews so I waited until I used the Logox a lot in all of it's forms. I give it 5 stars. Although I have occasionally assisted with cutting down trees since about 1963, (I am a sexy sixty seven senior citizen) I am new to these "play-tools", but I have been clearing a friends property of dead-falls and branches that are a definite fire hazard as well as dead trees. Most of the trunks are laying flat on the ground and are a literal "pain in the back" to bend and cut, not to mention dangerous and blade damaging. Now I can cut it into about 10 ft. logs, based on what is naturally off of the ground, roll them up onto the jack by my self and cut into pieces, moving the jack as needed. I am then able to remove the additions and carry the shorts, but here is the one problem I have. As I said, I am "less young" and with back problems carrying a short on only one side is not good on my body, I can't afford a second Logox carrier, even without the jack accessories, right now but I hope to save up enough by March so I can carry a balanced load, maybe next month a few of our relatives will think to give me some wedding present money, and not all for the bride (Oh, I am marrying another sexy sixty seven senior citizen in Feb.) Well, I got long, anyway I HIGHLY recommend the Logox set for SAFETY as well as convince.
