This kit contains everything you need to refresh the rear drum brakes on your ford escape. It comes with the shoes and drums, and the spring kit to refresh all of those including the hold-down nails. It also comes with the self-adjusters for each side so those can be renewed. Overall the kit worked well, but I will say the springs for the hold-down nails were slightly larger than the ones I removed and I could not use them as I couldn't compress them enough to get the retainer installed. I ended up using the original springs which worked fine. Overall this was an easy install and the parts fit well. Recommended.
