Trim the corners of the hood!

While the screen works great the biggest flaw is the hood. Removing the hood (even carefully) left a huge scratch on the screen. The edges of the hood are very sharp and ended up gashing the glass/plastic. If I didn't immediately need this screen I would be returning first thing in the morning.

Great monitor for the price. It works perfectly with the BMPCC, but with my Canon M, which outputs 720p HDMI instead of 1080p, it shows the video in windowed mode only. Zooming-in it cuts out of the picture too much.
False advert. Be careful of the lies.

It says that you can use canon LP-E6 with this monitor. You can't. As you'll see in the photos it says you can in the amazon description. Then in the manual you'll see that you can't use the canon LP-E6. The canon battery doesn't fit and has no way of connecting. No where does it say you'll need to buy an adapter. So now I can't use it until I purchase the proper batteries. Had I know I'd have to this I would have bought a different one. I hate companies who outright lie and hope that you'll just keep buying because you're kinda stuck with it.

Using on 7D MII via HDMI. Easy to focus. Easy to view. Using with AC adapter since battery drain was too fast. Great for director or clients to see my framing, etc.

Great monitor for the price
Pros:
- False Color (best feature)
- Large screen with decent image
- Rubber Cover
- Sun Shade
- Programmable buttons for fast access to things like false color
Cons:
- False Color doesn't have a chart next to it indicating the IRE levels like other monitors do
- Had to get an hdmi cable cuz the one that comes with it is hdmi to hdmi mini. My gh5 has a full side hdmi
- Build quality could be better
Would recommend this for anyone looking for a decent priced monitor without breaking the bank
