I attended the University of New Mexico - but grew up in Kansas City. When I first went to NM and was asked, "red or green?" I had no idea what they meant! Now, though, I always ask for "green, please!". Since I am unable to get green chiles in abundance in Kansas City, I went to Amazon to find a substitute and love this one. I included some photos of how it arrives, the jar and the contents. I will be throwing this into a number of Crockpot meals as well as my meatloaf! Ever had green chile meatloaf?! YUM!
