Included before and after pictures. They're not 100% dark but they're great. These were taken when the sun is directly on my daughter's window. If you look at the slide on her bed you can really see the difference they made. It'll be perfect at bedtime to block out the light now that the time changed. This is the second time I've bought these curtains she had the purple ones in our last house (different dimensions). Those were even darker than the pink.
