Although annoying, the siren works well and it projects your voice. There is a volume control. Pretty sturdy little toy they will love. No on/off button. Must remove batteries unless I missed something.

Great little toy for an aspiring police officer. He gets dressed up, rides his police car around the block, and now can use his megaphone to give people tickets. My only concern about it is it is very loud for inside purposes and if you try and turn it down it's almost mute. So the volume range isn't the best.

The whole family enjoys using this megaphone.. it's compact, lightweight, can be volume controlled to be loud and annoying or just loud enough... kids and adults loved it too. Good price for good fun. Be ware the handle came folded in and I was scared to pull it hard in fear of breaking it.. but once we opened and closed it a few times it's nit a stiff..
