I was on the fence about this gown for about a month until I talked to a friend who recently bought one. I was unsure what size to get since I am normally a size 14/large, 38D about 170ish and 5'6. I am currently 34 weeks at 200lbs and decided on the L/XL and I'm SO glad I did! I was almost going to go with The XXL but decided against it at the last minute. The XXL would've been way too big. Hope this helps for size reference!

Gown is super cute. I got the L/XL 10-16 Lisa which is gray and white polka dot with pink trim. I wear a 12 top n bottom.
The material is kinda stiff but that may change once I wash it. The fit is good but the breast area is a little snug for me since I have naturally large breasts, 38DD. I still have 2 1/2 months to go. Hope breasts don't get too big. The belly area will be good though. I wish the sleeves were a tad longer, 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches. They flare out a bit and need to be longer. If you are regular shaped and not a full figured woman this will work good for you. I don't see how it would fit a 16 though. It may be too tight in chest area.

Update: I have washed and air dried the gown 6 or 7 times to soften it up since the material is stiff cotton. It has not gotten softer. It's 100% cotton so you can't dry it. So sad bc the gown is so cute.
I have 40 days to go for delivery. Breasts have gotten larger yet.
Flaws: sleeves too short

Loved this gown! I did think these were a big pricy but I went with the reviews and bought a couple anyways to bring to the hospital when I had my baby. I tried it on at home to make sure it fit and I also sized up a size so I wouldn't have it pulling on me when in the hospital bed. Prewash it and then pack it in your hospital bag - maybe get two. I really liked that it was my own clothes, fresh and clean, vibrant pattern, easy to unbutton for feedings or skin to skin. After having a c-section I felt like crap and having some colorful comfortable clothes made me feel a little bit better and less like a helpless patient. Happy with the purchase.

Love this so much... that I just bought a second! I'm 31 weeks pregnant, 5'5" & currently 155lbs, wearing a 36D bra. Prepregnancy weight was 140lbs and 34C bra (I wore a Medium/Sz 8 prepregnancy in most everything... pear shaped and could sometimes wear small tops - but NEVER on the bottom!). I bought the S/M as recommended by the Gownies size chart. It's perfect! Bigger than I thought - I'll have room to grow these last 1-2 months!

Fabric softened up after one wash. It's super comfy and I love all the easy snap access buttons for skin to skin, breast feeding, and medical stuff. It's going to be perfect! I'm planning on changing into it after labor...though now that I have a second on the way, I may put one on for labor!

If you're on the fence (I was!) - go for it. I worked in the hospital for nearly 14 years and I just know this will be awesome!

I like the gown. I ordered it in the pink polka dots and it is cute! I only intend to wear it for hospital fashion, beast feeding, and my mommy and baby pictures. It does feel like a sheet but it is thicker than the issued hospital gown. I don't consider it to be scratchy bit it is not luxurious, soft, next to the skin fabric. But I wasn't expecting a hospital gown to be. I washed it and as other reviewers have said, it does wrinkle badly so I ironed it just enough, folded it neatly, and placed it in my hospital bag. I'll let the weight from everything else press the rest. LOL. If I decide to wear it at home (being that is great for breast feeding) I will wash it and care even less about the wrinkles. As a guide for sizes, 5"4 42D 200lbs and about ready to pop. I ordered the XXL & it fits just fine. Though I didn't buy it to fit the belly. I bought it to fit my chest being that after delivery my belly will not be as big so there will be even more room to wiggle. If it were less expensive, I would buy more for cute, breast feeding, receiving company, around the house wear.
