I have had several very unhappy clients who did not purchase the solution (literally a bargain compared to how much a painstaking recovery costs). Now most of them are happy to purchase and subscribe to Acronis, unfortunately others are no longer in business. Most small businesses cannot afford a total loss of data. Are a few pennies a year and a little attention to your data too much to spend? We did a recovery a few weeks ago of an un-backed up client and their bill was over $10,000 plus they lost an entire week of access to data, costing them another $100,000 in lost revenue that will never come back. They are now happy to subscribe and have implemented a monitored fail-safe backup solution including Cloud backup with Acronis as its core engine.

We take no pleasure trying to recover a crashed critical data system. Sure it is very lucrative for us, we would much rather do a restore and have you up and running in minutes with an Acronis solution in place than have to dispatch an emergency recovery team for 20 hours straight and use exorbitantly expensive physical data recovery labs, and then not even be able to guarantee getting data back.

Be smart and put Acronis on all of your systems. Learn how to properly use it. Set it and you can practically forget it. Otherwise, sooner or later, you will have a data loss.

We create an Acronis Image of every computer we deploy, regardless if client chooses not to. It saves us so much time that all of our technicians have their own licenses and use it on their home computers and personal devices as well.

I hate to see a grown CEO break down and cry when they find out that all of their business data is gone and it will cost them a huge chunk of money, upfront, to even get started on recovery. Be smart, get Acronis now and save the tears.

I have been an Acronis True Image customer for over 5 years and have seen this company get worse and worse. Their restrictive licensing keeps paying customers from using the software. When you try to call in for support because the license won't work, they do everything they can to keep you from talking to a human - including playing hide-and-seek with the support phone numbers. When you do find the number, they now charge you per incident to solve their software problems. This is a shame because the software itself is pretty good (not great, but good).

Be warned. Acronis business practices *will* keep you from using the software without lots of extra hours of jumping through their hoops. It isn't worth it.

I found that many Acronis customers are moving to Macrium Reflect. It works great, inexpensive, easy to use, and doesn't require a subscription - just like Acronis used to be. Like Acronis, Macrium does bare metal restores and you can browse a backup archive to retrieve files. However, the backup strategies (full, differential, incremental) are better in Macrium (and, frankly, easier to understand).

The software is easy to install and run. The data on the computer I installed Acronis is crucial to quickly restore if something goes wrong. Having an image of my drive with the easy restore option that Acronis True Image 2018 gives makes me rest easy that I'm protected from loss.

I have installed and reinstalled . I have used there cleanup tool. I can log on at there site but not inside there program. I tells me that the software is up to date and my key is valid but I only have 30 days. It will not activate from the program or the option to do it from another computer. The reinstall can not see a backup that I performed with the old install. No phone support. True image was one of the best back-up programs at one time. I don't know how a company can take a great program and turn it so bad. It did make a backup every night for the last 24 days. It will not make a recovery disk and I can't restore any of the back-ups after reinstalling the program so what good is it. I purchased it in a box, not a download, but I did have to update it to ver#9850

I had a hard drive that was failing. I bought a duplicate internal drive and an external drive. Created a recovery media on a USB drive. Booted to USB. Backed up hard drive to external drive. Replaced internal (backed up) drive with new drive. Booted to USB and then restored from the external drive to the new hard drive. Turned on the PC and booted up without a hitch. The whole process was incredibly easy and seamless. Well done Acronis!
