I went to multiple stores and looked at a lot of baseball bags. I wanted one that was big, but also one that my Tee Baller could handle (it was really for him to carry his gear, but I also wanted one that was easily organized since I would be the one doing that and looked nice at the same time). I couldn't find one there, but luckily this fit the bill perfectly.
It has a great compartment for his batting helmet and gloves (the main compartment) and an semi-hard case for the glove which is neat. We can bring a bag of baseballs and the batting tee base in the main compartment and then put the tee stand in the baseball bat area to bring to the park with room to spare.
One of the main reasons we bought the bag was that the bat holders are so well designed that they hold the bats upright nicely and provide great protection. I also like the fact that you can easily put shoes on the outside of the bag to air out. We use the top compartment for a water bottle rather than having it on the outside of the bag.
While it is heavy with all the gear in the bag, it isn't too cumbersome, and without the extra stuff to take to the park, our tee baller can handle the bag just fine and will grow into it. While it is expensive, it is a premium product and you get what you pay for.

2nd time I've purchased this bag, last one lasted 4-5 years with a lot of abuse as head coach. Holds a lot of stuff. New version doesn't have elastic on bat pockets so Bats aren't as secure as old version.
A lot of space. Not durable

This bags space is well designed but just 3 months in a zipper has broken and the cleat slots on the side no longer stay tight. Cleats fall out and struggle to open main compartment. Not sure yet if Rawlings will warranty exchange but seller limits to 30 days... bummer.
Amazing Quality at a fair price

I had a Easton bat bag prior and was searching for a backpack style bag as I was tired of carrying such a big bag. I was looking a this bag along with Easton and Mizuno backpack and eventually decided on this as the design was better. See below for pros and cons
Pros:
1) Locker style shelf system.
- Top Shelf has three separate compartments consisting with two zipper compartments with a soft lining for phone, keys and other items.
- Middle Compartment is the biggest storage area where a helmet will fit along with weight sleeve, batting gloves and elbow guard.
- Outer soft shell compartment is designated for a glove. I currently have my 12.75 outfielders glove here, but this could fit a catchers glove too.
2) Very secure two bat storage system
3) Very good material and zippers
4) There is two areas on the side that fit either cleats or water bottles. Water bottle can also be put in the helmet area. While I would prefer a designated cleat storage area with a zipper, this is not all that bad as the cleats will air out better. I wear a size 12 cleat.
Cons:
1) The only con I can think of would be is the structural integrity of the back. When you hang the backpack, it tends to sag just slightly. Not really a big deal, but if I were to improve this I would make the back more stiff to prevent this.
Overall this is an amazing backpack with great quality at a great price.
